The Cost of a DUI

You’ve seen the billboards and signs along the highway that say, “DUI – You Can’t Afford It.”

Like speed limit signs – pay attention to those because it’s true.

Beyond the physical and mental toll a DUI takes on the individual charged, any victims and their families, there is a large financial cost associated with being charged and convicted of a DUI.

How much?  This page details all the costs associated with my DUI and it wasn’t cheap – and is a whole lot more than the $52.16 worth of alcohol that got me into this situation.
